The One Card Spread

The One Card Spread is probably one of the most important exercises to do daily. It allows one to become familiar with the Tarot cards and meanings faster than just doing a periodic Spread.

You can draw a card in the morning while asking "What kind of energy will the day bring to me?" , or, "What kind of energy do I have to watch out for today?" If you need guidance on an particular issue for the day, you can draw a card to invoke the insight you need. It is interesting how the vigor of the card will grow. It will almost seem that, during the day, the card is speaking its meaning to you.

At night you can draw a card for answers to issues that may have come up during the day or for validation of your actions. If you have a major decision to make and need an answer for the morning, you can draw a card that may lead you to a resolution.

Whatever the case or situation, the One Card Spread keeps you involved and can be a beneficial one-on-one experience. When drawing the card always invoke the Divine by saying, "For my highest good and the good of all concerned, please give me the guidance and wisdom I seek in this situation." Always thank the Universe for the answer(s) you receive.
